ACCOMPLISHMENTS: My biggest accomplishment in life would be completing my bachelor degree in Engineering Science. I learnt a diverse amount of difficult topics and know that faced with any challenge, I can persevere and get through it. In my final year of this, I also completed an associate diploma in piano performance. I always need to stay creative and be multi-tasking between using both sides of my brain!
INTERESTS: In my free time I enjoy learning languages - right now I’m studying Mandarin. Since quarantine, I also started running and have really enjoyed it especially since goals are achievable in a shorter amount of time. I enjoy listening to and playing music, and have recently picked up the guitar. Last but not least, I love playing video games casually and am interested in e-sports too.
NETWORKS: My favourite, large yet tight-knit network in the CEMS network and alumni from my university. Everyone is very international and has amazing stories to tell from their adventures. Other educational networks come from my universities: UWA and USYD. As for my faith, I’m a Christian and when I’m in Perth, I go to Riverview Church. For recreation, I was previously an active member of the Japanese Studies Society at UWA and still keep in contact when I’m in Perth.
SKILLS: I would call myself an all-rounder, as I learn things fast, whether it’s theoretical or practical. I am an accommodating person, so I can adapt well and blend in part of a team, or step up and be a leader according to what I feel is appropriate at the time. I can connect to people well and that has helped me create deeper relationships, rather than superficial networks. I am a curious person which pushes me to continuously be learning, making me self-motivated. Having this drive makes me more self-reliant and not easily influenced by external factors.
